Whether she's demonstrating a workout, sharing a tasty recipe, or offering words of encouragement to followers around the world, personal trainer Ainsley Rodriguez is committed to helping people achieve healthy lifestyles. She offers one-on-one fitness coaching, but anyone trying to make positive changes to their diet and exercise habits can tap into her expertise through her Instagram and YouTube channel.

Ainsley was born and raised in Miami and still calls the coastal metropolis home. Before becoming a fitness influencer, she was on a very different path — studying at Florida International University and planning to take the MCAT for entrance to medical school.

When Ainsley started working for a supplement company to pay for school, she began posting on Instagram as part of her job. Fitness was one of her passions, and she shared glimpses of her day-to-day routine, including healthy recipes and workout notes. Inspired by her content, people began reaching out to her for personal advice, motivating Ainsley to switch career paths and complete her training and nutrition certifications.

Today, Ainsley has a thriving business creating custom exercise and diet programs for clients. She also has nearly 2 million followers on Instagram, where she posts nutrition advice and a variety of workout programs.

Many of these workouts are designed to fit into busy days, such as her 10-minute fat burn, 20-minute full body workout, and 20-minute HIIT routines. She also provides guidance on form so people can perform each exercise correctly.

Ainsley believes it's possible to get fit and eat well without feeling like it has to involve sacrifices or deprivation — healthy living is about making choices and having a positive mindset. Much of this approach to a balanced lifestyle comes from her own struggle to overcome eating disorders and low self-esteem as a teen. She now realizes how important it is to have belief in oneself. "You're always going to be chasing something more. So until you feel good about yourself on the inside, it's not really going to translate to the outside," she said in an interview with The Kara Goldin Show.

And for those days Ainsley's followers find it hard to stay on track, she has plenty of encouraging words. "You won't always feel excited and motivated to workout and it is totally NORMAL!” she posted on Instagram. "I do 'fitness' for a living and I STILL get into funks and spurts when my motivation crashes and I just hit snooze! AND THAT'S OK! What's not ok is letting those days turn into weeks into months."
