Although many of these companies pay employees decent wages, there is often a dramatic pay gap between average workers and CEOs. Best Buy initially focused on audio-related products and was called Sound of Music. Since then, the retailer has expanded to sell all kinds of electronics from over 1,100 locations across several countries. CEO Corie Barry earns $12 million per year or $5,800 hourly, much more than a cashier’s average $15 hourly wage.

Harley-Davidson

CEO Salary: $4,600 per hour
Employee Salary: $79.89 per hour

Known for a distinctive chopper motorcycle style, Harley-Davidson is one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Formerly CEO of Colgate and PUMA, Jochen Zeitz now serves as Harley-Davidson’s CEO and earns an average hourly wage of $4,600. Even with a significant wage gap, employees earn a healthy hourly wage of $79.89.
