COVID-19 and the restrictions it forced on the world changed everything. EVERYTHING. But it also forced folks to find creative ways to get their fitness on, since most fitness venues were shuttered for months on end. A YouTube rockstar and fitness sensation, Girvan became one of the faces that brought inspiration to the collective masses as COVID pummeled the world outside. Her YouTube channel now has well over 1.46 million subscribers, making it the second-fastest-growing channel on YouTube in 2020. Her free workouts spread like wildfire across the world, from novice fitness buffs looking for a way to work out between Zoom meetings to moms who were shut-in trying to teach their kids their ABCs. Her videos receive more than 300,000 hits per day, with everything she posts turning into YouTube gold.
Works the Core, Abs

Girvan’s 50-Day program is made up of a combination of exercises that work the core and abs and involves some weights and HIIT. The videos are augmented (and Girvan’s message driven home even more loudly) by a bustling social media community that meets up on Facebook to share progress notes along with oodles of motivation and encouragement.
Since the launch of her first EPIC Programme in 2020, Girvan released a second installment called Heat. Heat features workouts that require as little as 30 minutes to complete and that come with music playlists for added inspo. That was followed by a third segment in the series, which was so sought after on its release date that the number of visitors to her website caused it to crash.
Tips and Motivation

Girvan was virtually unknown prior to the COVID-19 breakout. Supporters appreciate her passion for getting and staying fit and her enthusiasm that shines through in every workout. And amazingly, all of her workouts remain free.
Girvan offers a few tips for those who are struggling to find the motivation to get up and get moving. She says that picking a time of day for exercising and then sticking with it and creating a routine is important. The key is to always stay active, even on days when you’re not training—go for a walk. It will boost your mentality and your mood, notes Girvan. “There’s nothing like getting out and getting fresh air for an hour. Just get your body moving and you will feel the benefits both mentally and physically.”
Girvan says she’s not always motivated. She struggles sometimes, too. But on days that she is not “feeling it” she makes herself “do at least 10 minutes and afterward I always feel better and normally end up doing more.”
